Located within walking or biking distance from downtown this popular beach is a valued community meeting place that offers lots of features for a fun day at the beach.  The swimming beach is watched over by lifeguards and offers a volleyball net.  The bluff above the beach features park benches overlooking the lake, BBQ grills, parking, port-a-johns, grassy open space, and a playground structure for kids.
