So, are you ready for brunch? Because every Sunday the Holiday is cooking up some fantastic grinds for every appetite!  Instead of slaving over your stove on Sunday morning you can relax and fill your plate time after time with food that would take an army of cooks and hours in the kitchen to prepare.

What’s your favorite breakfast? Betcha they got it at the My Place Restaurant in the Holiday Inn.  You like omelets? They got ’em,  made to order, you can have as many as you want! (the made to order omelets were one of my personal favorites during our recent brunch visit).  They also have Eggs Benedict which is not always an option at breakfast restaurants in town.

If you have a sweet tooth you won’t be disappointed! One of the best items they are serving up at the Holiday Inn Sunday brunch is their homeade waffles.  Crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. Choose from strawberries-n-fresh whip cream or pecan maple syrup to top them off and you will be in heaven as they melt in your mouth.

They have a traditional brunch chef slicing cuts of ham and roast beef as well as a lunch buffet if you’ve got a taste for lunch in addition to breakfast. You’ll find beef stroganoff, mashed potatoes, barbecue chicken, and a build your own salad to name just a few.

If you’ve still got room after all that there is an irresistable dessert buffet waiting for you (unless of course you decide to start with dessert first, at Sunday brunch anything goes!) The only problem here is choosing which dessert you can squeeze in because they all look so good.  and of course, there is plenty of coffee and OJ to go around as well and their staff makes sure you are well taken care of.

Their bruch menu is reasonable priced and if you’ve got a birthday boy or girl in the family they can enjoy all this for free with a birthday month coupon that comes out twice monthly on the green coupon sheet in the Mining Journal.  They also offer discounts for seniors and kids.  The My Place Restaurant att he Holiday Inn is  a fabulous way to spend a late Sunday morning from 9am – 1pm every week!
