SNOW, SNOW, AND MORE SNOW!

Marquette, MI – It’s been called “Snowmageddon” and with good reason as people across Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, woke up to heavy snow blanketing areas up to 16 in. on Tuesday, November 11, 2014, breaking the record of 6 in. on the same day in 1977.  30 inches in all fell within a 2 day period of almost constant snowfall, the earliest this has occurred to date. 65 car accidents were reported in Marquette County while public schools and colleges were cancelled two days in a row as predictions called for more snowfall and howling winds into Wednesday.
